PhD and postdoc positions available in MAS-DNP at CEA / Univ. Grenoble Alpes (France)

We are looking for two postdoc candidates for a start in 2024.

Candidates with background in NMR of solid-state electrolyte / battery electrode or in cell solid-state NMR are particularly welcome to apply.

We have various on-going projects ranging from the development of sustainable ultra-low temperature helium spinning DNP-NMR (20-100 K) combined with improved polarizing agents, with applications on functional materials (ZnO / perovskite NCs, biosourced nanomaterials, supercapacitor, battery) and biomolecules (protein-ligand, SelDNP, in cell NMR).

More information about the lab and a list of recent publications can be found here: www.nmr-dnp-grenoble.net.

Interested candidates can contact me at gael.depaepe@cea.fr

Grenoble is one of the major cities in Europe for research with a large international scientific community. In addition, Grenoble has a large international student population, is a very pleasant city to live in, and is known as the “Capital of the Alps” with easy access to great skiing and hiking. It’s also only 2 hours’ drive to the Mediterranean Sea, Italy, or Switzerland. Grenoble, Lyon, and Geneva airports are nearby and permit straightforward international travel.
